Boat Harbour, Port Stephens NSW
Surrounded by National Parks, Boat Harbour offers a protected sandy beach just a two-minute walk away, ideal for little ones. There is a council park with a BBQ area and children’s playground perfect for family picnics. For the more active there are tennis courts located at the end of our street and for the less active a Street Library located right next door.
If the surf is more your style you can walk to One Mile Beach (a patrolled beach) or Kingsley Beach to catch the waves. Fishermen will enjoy casting a line into the calm waters from one of the many rocky waterfront positions or launch their boat directly from Boat Harbour Beach.
Watch the whales as they play off the shore, walk to two famous whale watching lookouts or sit and watch them from the front deck. So many choices.
The small township of Anna Bay is close by where you can pick up essential supplies from a bakery, an IGA, a newsagent, a garage, a chemist, two restaurants and the Anna Bay Tavern. Birubi Beach is the 4WD gateway to Stockton Beach famous for its huge sand dunes. You can hop on a tour, try sand boarding or even enjoy a camel ride!
